The Pocket Edition is the version of Minecraft dedicated to mobile devices. If the Windows 10 Mobile support were to come through, it would be under the Pocket Edition version of the game. Since this change was only speculated and not actually confirmed by anyone at either Mojang or Microsoft, a lot of people took it as a sign that things weren’t going to as great as everyone would have hoped. The game supported the PC version of Windows 10 from the start, but many were hoping for extended support so that Windows 10 Mobile users could also get in on the fun. This comes as quite a disappointment since the original version of the game was released on platforms other than Windows Mobile.
Initially, fans had reason to be excited due to the discovery of a detail in the changelog for the latest patch that pointed to Mojang including support for the platform for its popular game.īut now, the 1.0.3 beta build of the game received a changelog that doesn’t include that information.
